Engineering Studies Counselling
JEE – MAINS Counselling
Candidates clearing the minimum cut off (based on AIR) will be eligible to participate in JEE Main 2019 Counselling and Seat Allotment. JoSAA holds JEE Main counselliing and seat allotment process for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and Other GFTIs. The schedule of JoSAA counselling will be released at josaa.nic.in. This time 100 institutes will be participating in JoSAA Counselling.
JEE Advanced Counselling
Students will be able to register for the counselling & seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2019 tentatively from the 2nd week of June. JEE Advanced 2019 counselling & seat allotment will be conducted by JoSAA as a centralized counselling process. All candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2019 with a qualified rank & meet the other criteria will be able to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process.
Management Studies Counselling
Candidates will first have to appear for CAT 2018. Based on the performance of the test, examinees will be shortlisted for the second CAT selection process. All shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). The participating institutes and IIMs will render some weightage to each mentioned factor as per their respective admission processes before finalising the students for admissions to management programmes.
The selection procedure of XAT usually starts in the month of February after the announcement of the result. The selection process includes GD, Essay Writing, and Personal Interview.
First, XLRI, its 11-member institutes and other XAT participating institutes shortlist the test takers on the basis of cutoff. Then the shortlisted one attends the mentioned selection rounds.
Past academic scores, work experience (if any), profile, XAT score will be considered along with the performance in XAT selection rounds for the final admission.
A written test, Group Discussion (GD), and a Personal Interview (PI) will be a part of the MAT 2018 selection process. The writing test is also known as WAT (Writing Ability test).
Not all the MAT participating institute conduct all three selection rounds. Final admission is offered on the basis of the candidate’s performance in all the rounds of MAT 2018 selection process.
Some institutes may also consider the past academic records (marks in 10th, 12th, and graduation), work experience and other achievements before offering the final admission.
National Testing Agency, the new CMAT administering authority will conduct the selection procedure. As per the officials, the participating institutes will conduct their respective selection procedures for the candidates who would obtain the cutoff scores. The CMAT 2019 selection procedure varies within institutes. The selection procedure of CMAT 2019 mostly comprises of GD (Group Discussion), PI (Personal Interview) or WAT (Written Ability Test).
The selection process of SNAP 2018 comprises of 3 steps, namely, Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI). The admission of an aspirant is based on performance in SNAP exam, selection rounds and candidate’s profile (previous academic performance, work experience etc). Preparation of the final merit list will be based on the following weightage parameters-SNAP Test Score (scaled to 50 marks)

The selection process of IIFT 2019 will start after the announcement of the result. IIFT Delhi will announce the cutoff for IIFT 2019 exam along with the result in the first week of January.
Based on the IIFT 2019 cutoff, candidates will be shortlisted for the selection process.
The IIFT 2019 selection process will include – Writing test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
The weightage given to each round is different. And the final selection of a candidate will be based on the overall performance in all the rounds including the IIFT 2019 exam.
Delhi University releases the seat allotment and admission list after conducting the online counselling procedure. The document verification and approval of admission by colleges take place on stipulated dates as announced by University of Delhi. The DU JAT 2019 selection procedure is conducted for those candidates who secure score/percentage as per the cutoff. The DU JAT selection procedure 2019 will be conducted by the University of Delhi. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their scores in DU JAT and Class XII board exam.
The university will conduct counselling for IPU CET BJMC 2019 in online and offline mode. For the offline mode of IPU CET BJMC counselling candidates will be called on the basis of their ranks obtained in the exam. Candidates will have to report at the venue which will be notified on the prescribed day and time. Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee for IPU CET counselling 2019. Candidates will have to produce the required documents for verification. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to pay the notified fee to confirm the seat.

The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide order dated 07.06.2012 in I.A. No. 35/2012 in Writ Petition (Civil) No 443 of 1992 in the matter of Sharwan Kumar Vs Directorate General of Health Services and Anr has directed the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to hold Online Counseling for 15% All India Quota undergraduate MBBS/BDS seats. The seat allotment would be done as per the procedures adopted by these regulatory bodies for all the associated Medical Colleges in India

MCC Deemed Counselling
In compliance of Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directions in WP 267 of 2017 DAR-US-SLAM EDUCATIONAL TRUST AND ORS Petitioner(s) vs MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA AND ORS. The Court has directed that Common Counseling for admission to All India Quota seats in Government Medical Colleges shall be conducted by the DGHS. The counseling conducted by DGHS will also include Deemed Universities as they have an All India character. To expand the activities of the CET Cell, the Government by order No. ED. 212 TEC 2006 dated 20-12-2006 has converted the Common Entrance Test Cell into an autonomous body registered under Societies Registration Act 1960 called “Karnataka Examinations Authority” (KEA) which conducts KEA Counselling to admit students for Medical Studies in affiliated colleges
